Purpose Statement: To ignite the world for Christ... one life at a time by bringing people to Jesus and membership in His family, developing them to Christ-like maturity and equipping them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world in order to magnify God’s name.
Vision Statement: COHSS is a thriving network of ministries devoted to the spread of the Good News of Jesus Christ in the lives of individuals through local and virtual avenues, meeting spiritual needs while attending emotional, relational, and physical requirements, reflecting the love and grace of God to all He leads our way.

• that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God our Heavenly Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
• in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of God Our Father and in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory to rule all our nations.
• the Good News that God came to earth in Jesus Christ to reconcile the world to Himself, to reconcile us to each other, and to reconcile us to ourselves.
• that the redemptive work (making us whole) of Christ on the cross, provides healing of the human body, mind, soul and spirit in response to our believing prayers.
• that the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us enables us to live a holy life, becoming more like Christ in our daily walk.
• in the resurrection of both the saved and lost.
• that our highest purpose in life is to follow Jesus, and our greatest commitment is to be His disciples.
